Danesiri Fetches $100,000
Wednesday at William Inglis and Sons Sydney Newmarket Sales Complex saw the highest price achieved so far for Oxley Island Thoroughbreds in the Sales Ring.
Selling on behalf of the owners, Oxley Island Thoroughbreds received $100,000 for 6 year old Home On The Grange mare, Danesiri. On top of the $270,000 she won on the race track, this was a great end to her racing career for her owners.
She was purchased by Greg White and will join an elite band of Broodmares at Scone and will be given every possible chance for a great breeding career.
Congratulations to the owners, who have enjoyed a wonderful ride with a courageous little mare Danesiri.
