Irish Ivy Debut

The Charlotte Littlefield trained Irish Ivy will make her debut this Thursday at Bendigo in the Mosstrooper Packages Available Now 2YO Fillies Maiden Plate over 1100m.

The two-year-old by Danesis will be Littlefield's first runner for John Pratt who bred the filly and stands Danesis at his Brooker Park operation.

Irish Ivy is out of the Sadler's Wells mare Ardara and is the sixth foal out of the mare and the first by Danesis. She has visited Danesis in each of the four seasons since Irish Ivy, with two foals to come as she missed twice.

"Irish has always shown that she will run early and we are excited to see what she can do in a race that looks as though it will really suit her," said John Pratt.

Littlefield and Pratt will be hoping that Irish Ivy can get the partnership off to a great start.
