The first Brooker Park bred Danesis runner will make her debut on Thursday night at Racing.com Park, in the Bruce Clough Mazda Maiden Plate over 1200m, against the older horses.

The two-year-old filly is the first foal of the Zaha mare, Lady Zahra, and is bred on the Danehill, Kingmambo cross.

Danesis, who stands at Brooker Park, is starting to gain some momentum of runners having already had Zarsis start twice - for the same training partnership of Lyn Tolson and Leonie Proctor.

"It has been a long wait but I am excited to see the first Danesis runner I bred getting to the track and running in my colours." Said John Pratt.

"I'm not surprised she is my first runner she was always very forward and she has been going very well in her jump-outs at Mornington also.

Pocketeering is the first foal out of Lady Zahra, who has been mated back to Danesis another two times, with a yearling filly and the other foal died after birth.

Brooker Park will also be cheering for The Wolfman in the second race on the card, the Hygain 3YO Maiden Plate over 1400m.

The Wolfman is by Amadeus Wolf and is out of the Tale Of The Cat mare, Saucey Tales. That makes him a half brother to the Brooker Park bred, Just Magical, a three time winner and twice Listed place getter.
