The Brooker Park stud bred, Just Magical, was too good for the at Cranbourne on Friday night in the Beraldo Coffee Handicap over 1400m.
Michael Walker gave the gelded son of Magic Albert a terrific ride controlling the race and at the home turn urged Just Magical forward and it was all over as he galloped to the line.
Just Magical is by Magic Albert out of the Tale Of The Cat mare, Saucey Tales.
He was purchased by his trainers, Lyn Tolson and Leonie Proctor who have had a good association with John Pratt and his Brooker Park Stud.
"I have a few horses with them and have for a while so it is nice to see them in the winners cirlce, especially with one I've bred," quipped John Pratt.
Just Magical was a private purchase and with his third win taking his total prize money to over $127,000, he now looks a really good buy.
Tolson and Proctor also have the half brother to this horse in, The Wolman, who is by Amadeus Wolf. He is currently unraced.
