Any Given Bender A Winner

It was a rewarding day for Brooker Park at Sunday's Traralgon Cup meeting, with the Lenny Xuereb trained, Any Given bender taking out the third of the day, the The Doc Shop Maiden Plate over 1100m.

Any Given Bender was bred by John Pratt and runs for a great group of owners, who only had to wait for the gelding's third start to break his maiden status.

By Any Given Sunday and out of the Danehill mare, Love To Rhumba, Any Given Bender is bred on the Distorted Humor Danzig cross that has been so successful not only here in Australia, but Northern Hemisphere as well.

It was an excellent ride from the in-form Daniel Stackhouse who was never to far from the leader and then went for home rounding the turn and ran away with the win.

It was also a great result for Lenny Xuereb who John Pratt has had a good association with winning horses in the past.
